Giorgos Nikoulis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), working within the MeVer team. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics, defending a thesis through which he changed his focus of interests. Over the course of his career, he became deeply involved in the development of machine learning interatomic potentials, eventually leading this effort. This work sparked his growing interest in the field of machine learning. Giorgos is now pursuing a full-time career as a machine learning engineer.
